A unique and powerful feature of the NetMap System is the ability to share science and technology, via Virtual Watersheds and Tools, to all partners, thus collaborating on ideas, expertise, experience and capital. For example, a new analysis type (or tool) built in one geographic location (e.g., NOAA Fisheries in Oregon) becomes part of the NetMap analysis package (and tool kit) and is immediately available to all analysts using NetMap tools and Virtual Watersheds.
