Simonette River/Peace River (Alberta Environment), Riparian Zones

In partnership with Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development, University of Alberta and University of New Brunswick, NetMap will be integrated with Alberta's Wet Area Mapping (WAM) project in the Simonette River, a tributary to the Peace River in northern Alberta. The Peace River flows into Hudsons Bay.

Objectives of this project include applying NetMap's habitat and floodplain analysis tools to support riparian management. Completion date: March 31, 2015.
