The Blackfoot-Swan Restoration Project is part of the Southwestern Crown of the Continent collaborative covers an area of about 1.5 million acres in low elevation forests and communities in the Blackfoot, Clearwater and Swan River valleys. It forms a complex of federal and private timberlands, working ranches, mountains, wildlife, and streams and lakes.
NetMap's virtual watersheds and analysis tools will be applied by the US Forest Service and TerrainWorks in a landscape analysis covering the project area: NetMap tools that will be used include fish habitat mapping, riparian processes, floodplains, roads and climate change.
